When did you begin the flute?

I began playing when I was 10 years old.

 

Why to have chosen this instrument?

I chose the instrument because I thought it sounded beautiful and it was my choice and not my parents, They made me play the piano for which i am very grateful!

 

Since when do know you that to make the smart one will be your job?

I was 16 when I knew that playing music and specifically playing the flute, was what i wanted to do in my life.

 

What do you prefer to play?

I like to play all the flutes; c flute, alto flute and picollo.

Which is your more beautiful memory of flute?

Playing with Hubert Laws at the Cape May Jazz Festival in 2005

 

Which is your worst memory?

Getting focal dystonia and not being able to play. - Ne pas être capable de jouer.

 

Where do you dream to go to play?

All over the world! - Dans le monde entier!

 

Did you already play as a flute soloist in an orchestra?

If no, would you like?No, I prefer to improvise but i did play a little bit with the Caracas Symphony Orchestra. - Non je préfère improviser mais j'ai joué un peu avec l'orchester symhponique de Caracas.

Which message would you like to pass all to the flutists?

Make sure you have a great teacher who not only teaches you how to play but also teaches you how to live as a musician. Also, be careful of any overpractice issues which may lead to focal dystonia. - Assurez-vous que vous avez un bon professeur qui non seulement vous apprend à jouer, mais vous apprend à vivre comme un musicien.
